Prior to joining Parkwood, Erika spent over 20 years in Human Resources Management roles with KeyBank, Cohen & Company, and ValMark Securities (now ValMark Financial Group) where she oversaw HR initiatives and served as an HR Consultant to clients.

Erika began her education locally at Mount Union College and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies in 1996 (Cum Laude) at The University of Maryland campus in Okinawa, Japan.  She completed a Master’s Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources (MLRHR) in 2021 from Cleveland State University.  She also holds a Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR).  

Erika enjoys spending time with her son and grandchildren, as well as performing public service activities through her membership with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
