Mark A. Madeja

VP of Philanthropic Operations

Biography

Mark is Vice President of Philanthropic Operations and serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Foundation as well as the individual family foundations. This includes grant processing, reporting and compliance, board and committee meeting preparation, communications and the development and documentation of Foundation policies and procedures. Mark joined Parkwood in 2004 as the Director of Internal Audit.

Prior to joining Parkwood, Mark was a Senior Manager with Deloitte where he focused on audits of closely held businesses, non-profit organizations and public sector entities.  This broad range of experience helped him develop an operational focus and keen attention to detail.

Mark earned a BA in Accounting from John Carroll University (Magna Cum Laude) in 1995.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder. 

Mark and his wife, Mary, reside in Leroy Township, Ohio with their two children.
