• Perform scheduled risk assessments of investment managers within the portfolio to evaluate and communicate all non-investment related risks including operational risk, counterparty risk and fraud risk
• Work with the investment analyst and risk manager to develop a complete risk picture of each manager and monitor the investment managers in the portfolio for any changes that may impact the risk of the investment
• Perform up front, in depth reviews of the operations for investment managers that are new to the portfolio, and perform ad hoc operations reviews of existing managers
• Review managers’ audited financial statements to ensure they use a reputable auditor and have a clean opinion
• Support risk reporting procedures and contribute to risk-related projects across the client investment portfolios, including Parkwood’s internal trading function

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Passion for accurate, thorough and complete project work
• Ability to grow in responsibility over time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience or basic knowledge of investment operations and related documentation
